Bidvest Facilities Management’s Training Academy provides learners with technical qualifications and soft skills in a variety of disciplines relating to facilities management. Through comprehensive assessment procedures and rigorous training standards, the academy ensures that learners possess the correct level of skill required to excel at their jobs. Our Training Academy not only trains our staff, but is also used as a facility for our customers, who require training to enhance workplace competencies. Our courses can be adapted and developed according to our customers’ requirements upon request. The Training Centre has registered skill assessors that assist in the recruitment of technical employees for our contracts. Our instructors develop assessment instruments according to client needs, and assess their current and potential employees against the respective skills requirements. This service also assists line managers with their skills development plans.

Training Academy Certification

We provide each learner with a certification based on his or her particular course completed. The certification is accredited by MERSETA (Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA) as per SAQA Regulation 13.
