Bidvest Facilities Management was recently invited to attend a heart-warming event by The President’s Award for Youth Empowerment (TPA), who thanked us for our sponsorship and shared stories of young people who have been positively impacted by this life changing programme.
TPA is an amazing organisation that is doing good work with the youth in South Africa. They partner with industry to equip young people to succeed in life and challenge them to discover their purpose; develop their character and determine their future in building a better country for all.
We sponsored TPA’s Adventurous Journey, where a group of young people from Reitumetse High School, and the Father Smangaliso Mkhatshwa centre participated in a two day hike from 23rd to 24th July last year at the Ezemvelo Nature Reserve in Bronkhorstpruit.
Frans Maluleke, a matric student from Shoshanguve, Pretoria, who is an ambassador for TPA and received a silver award for the Adventurous Journey commented, “I would like to thank Bidvest for sponsoring my participation in TPA, particularly the Adventurous Journey. It really tested my character!”
