Role Purpose

Responsible for scheduling all hard and soft maintenance activities and the co-ordination of such maintenance activities.

Main Outputs

  • Manage Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules in accordance to the SLA for all equipment and services
  • Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) on correct expense codes and ensure accuracy against the quotation
  • Confirm monthly service contracts and amounts for the suppliers on the SAP system
  • Ensure that all purchase orders are submitted to suppliers for correct invoicing
  • Ensure that all orders are processed timeously
  • Monitor the execution of work against contractual obligations and associated SLA’s and implement corrective measures on deviations
  • Manage all incoming requests and complaints on daily basis, and provide timeous feedback in ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Dispatch requests to technical staff and pertinent service providers and follow-up on action items
  • Conduct monthly verification of WIP and GRIR reports and report on variances
  • Manage the debtors process for the specific contract
  • Planning for placement of employees, contractors and efficient utilization of materials and tools
  • Manage all staff related administration such as leave, overtime and travel requests
  • Building good Internal and External customer relationships

Qualifications and Skills

The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • N3 – N6 in Financial or Project Management or Operations Management
  • Grade 12
  • Valid SA Drivers’ License
  • 2yrs relevant experience in contract financial / commercial administration role, project management and knowledge of maintenance management principles
  • Maintenance planning, project management skills (advantageous)
  • MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP Knowledge
  • Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
