  1. Role Purpose

Responsibility for Information management and distribution to business and client by deploying MSBI and reporting applications. This includes understanding and supporting KPI requirements with relevant stakeholders and adhering to good IT governance.

  1. Main Outputs
  • Provide input and develop plans regarding the Vodacom BI strategy.
  • Research/understand BI and relate to VODACOM FM IT architecture and ensure strategy alignment
  • Provide input, implement, maintain and improve an EPM system for the VODACOM account;
  • Business analysis and performance requirements
  • Define metrics
  • Develop Scorecards and dashboards
  • Develop, implement, maintain and improve an Information Management system for VODACOM account which;
  • Supports management and Business Intelligence Solutions (internal and external)
  • Develop and drive data quality management.
  • Support an effective reporting methodology
  • Management of the following applications and environments;
  • MSBI tools (Upgrades, Administration, Data base, etc)
  • SharePoint relevant to reporting such as PerformancePoint, Excel services, etc.
  • Information provisioning
  • Develop, implement, maintain and improve BI platform
  • Data Warehouse, Extraction, load and transform
  • Analysis Services
  • Database structures and relationships
  • Develop, implement, maintain and improve internal and external reporting
  • Strategy Maps, Scorecards, Dashboards, reports
  • Implement, improve and support IT governance and IMS procedures

  1. Qualifications and Skills

The Applicant must meet the following requirements: –

  • Formal 4 year Business Management Qualification and/or relevant experience and successful track record
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Valid SA driver’s license
  • Minimum of 10 years operations management experience at a senior level, preferably within the service industry and in an Archibus environment.
  • Must have introduced and led IT based change programs. Have a solid understanding of business and financial process performance improvement.
